“EQUAL MEANS EQUAL”
THE VOICE OF A WOMAN FESTIVAL NYC 2016
Saturday November 5th
THE VOICE OF A WOMAN FESTIVAL CLOSING FILM, delivered on our mission to present films that examine the social issues of our times and how they impact on the lives of women. The presentation of the film EQUAL MEANS EQUAL written and directed by Kamala Lopez and executive produced by Patricia Arquette, couldn't have been more timely, just 3 days before the election of a US President. This powerful and timely documentary film investigates a little known fact that women are actually not equal to men under the Constitution of United States of America. The film explores the impact of this fact on the lives of women across America.
